Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Itheons — including the mobile apps, web interfaces, and API — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. The service
Itheons provides hyperlocal weather forecasting. Forecasts are probabilistic, not guarantees. They should not be your sole input for safety-critical decisions in aviation, emergency response, or any other context where error carries physical risk without independent verification.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits, reverse-engineer model outputs, or scrape bulk forecast data outside the API's intended pattern.
- Don't resell forecast access without a commercial agreement.
- Don't use Itheons to harm others, including harassment, discrimination, or safety misinformation.
5. Intellectual property
Itheons, the Itheons logo, model weights, and forecast outputs are our intellectual property. You receive a limited, revocable license to use forecast outputs for your own purposes. Redistribution requires written permission.
6. Pricing and payment
Consumer apps are free for personal use. API and enterprise tiers are priced per our current rate card. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
7. Disclaimers
Itheons is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that forecasts will be accurate, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Weather is inherently uncertain.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Itheons is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Surviving provisions include intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes to these terms
We'll notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
